nice to see you use the good oil. Those jugs have used oil in them, friends drop off all their used oil at my place because i have a waste oil burning furnace in my shop. I'm kind of a mobil oil guy Wished I lived closer. Would bring some lead and paddles and take care of *joining* sheet metal for you. Stay away from bondo in those areas if you can. Lead slinger huh? I actually use an aluminum filler for my seams.

Beautiful!
Question - once tacked in, Thanks, I tack it all the way around to hold everything flush before I start doing the real welding. This piece was put in with a solid butt weld all the way around except for the bottom flange where I duplicated factory spot welds with plug welds. It's pretty stout.

I am very happy, it's pre weekend and I am finished with metal work on the main body of the car, that means I can work on primers and body fillers etc all weekend.
This is awesome.

Dave you are a magician Sir, you ought to go into the restoration business.

I was one beer into that pack when I started the job so, not quite sure if it was even a 2 beer job. It went very well.

I tied the frame today. Frame connectors.
She rock solid now.
Feels good, i'm not going to build 1000 hp like stx but i might bump up into the 450 range. With the sure grip and the amount of rubber i plan on fitting in the rear wheel houses, it feels good to know the body twist will be greatly reduced.

Love it, nothing worse than having the frame do the twist when coming off the line and the door popping open!

Nice. Hope you had time for an Easter egg or two and a little refreshment and fun, as well.

Yes, its a more water tight resin filled with powdered aluminum. I use it to dress weld seams, very little of it. It is used anywhere lead used to be used.
