Agree. It's been my main hobby for well over a decade. I enjoy every part, from the R&D project that is load workup, to the shootin'.

I especially like getting a new rifle sorted out. I tend to put the first 500-800 rounds through them early, then it tapers off and I'm on to the next toy.

Very psyched to be getting back into it, though I'm having to leave the heavier kickers in the safe, but it's still great to flop down and whack some steel!

Rust protects things nicely. Tried to call BB today for a Feesh/Bear Report,but couldn't reach him.

The Spring Fling starts wednesday afternoon.

Thanks for the correction on heavier and longer bullets. I know that but my overly-used brain just says heavier = longer as long as the diameter is the same but when I'm in my right mind, all cylinders perkin, I know that ain't correct all the time.

Lookin forward to what results Greydog (I think) is gonna come up with. Might surprise all of us.

Greydog, I also appreciate the effort being made. Some people appreciate the AI�s for benefits beside the velocity gain. It is readily apparent though that several people have an emotional attachment to AI�s and treat a scientific evaluation of velocity gain as if they are a 5 year old child being informed that Santa Claus doesn�t exist.

My '21 was proud in headspace from inception,in that Factory Fodder was shy of being reliable,regarding ignition,due to the fact. Easy to bump neck diameter,headspace a false shoulder or simply feed it fired hulls from another spout. The last 2000pc order of O/F R/P I scored,whistled through it nicely with only a neck die. Hardly a beeg deal,in my book.

I'm with you,that poor dumb greydog is in sooooooooooo far over her [bleep] head,that someone will have to pump daylight to her...but it IS gonna be funnier than [bleep],for her to reiterate same,under her version of "Science".

Tags filled, is first of all a function of tags available. It's simply impossible to fill more that two deer tags a year in Oregon buying regular tags available to the public, and much more likely for most, is (1) solitary deer tag a year.

You love to bust balls but truth is you are hunting in a zoo and fishing in an aquarium and you know it.

I've cut roughly 25 big game tags (deer and elk). How many has your 11 year old filled? Just curious. Maybe he/she has filled more than me. All I can do is buy what's available and go huntin'. We don't get 6 deer tags (at 70% success rates!) like you do, or did, on Prince of Wales.
