I am thinking about having the Dakota 3 position safety and Talley Lever detachable rings color case hardened by Turnbull. My question is that since it is going to be $100 for a few small parts is there anything else you can think of on my 9.3 Brno that could be sent in too?

Terry, can you post the pic of your rifle with the Turnbull treatment again?

Sling swivel bases, bottom metal, grip cap. If you're not set on Turnbull you may wish to contact Mike Hunter at, www.hunterrestorations.comHe gave me the best quote and was completely responsive to all my questions. Looks like he does good work too.

I'll repost the pics when I get there. Are you planning on leaving the bottom metal stock? I did the BRNO trigger guard on one of mine and it looks very nice. Terry

I decided that Karnis was going to fit my buttplate, grip cap, and sling swivel bases when he refinishes my stock. Once I get that back from Karnis I'll send the parts to Mike Hunter.

Terry, can you post the pic of your rifle with the Turnbull treatment again? Here are the few things I had case colored on my 21H: Trigger guard Larger SizeFront barrel screw Larger Size Scope rings Larger Size Now if you really want to get classy with it I would suggest you find a Nitre bluer to do a few parts to go with the case color hardening. It would be top shelf! I would do all the screws (action and barrel) and the bolt release spring Nitre. I love the blue contrast it gives. Scope screws and bolt release spring cover Larger Size Action screws Larger Size Hopefully you'll get a few idea's from this. Terry

I really like the idea of the Nitride screws. The bad part is it seems like the longer this takes the more expensive it gets! It would have been a hell of a lot cheaper to go with the CZ or Ruger but I don't think I will regret this one at all

Mike quoted me 1/2 the price of Turnbull. I got quotes ranging from $260 to $75.
