Gutless and boned out at the kill spot. I'm way too old to haul out anything i'm not going to eat.
Easier or harder to do doesn't matter to me. It's all about what I have to carry.

I like the heart and the liver, ain't leavin' 'em for the bears...... Getting them out when doing gutless is easy. After everything else is done, cutting a couple ribs gets the heart and a quick cut in the abdomen gets the liver (it's useful to know just where the liver is so you might make a mistake the 1st time or 2). I know that sounds like gutting after the fact, but it's not. Nothing else comes out and there's no mess to work in.

Although I like heart and liver,I had to give them up.Organ meat one of is the worst thing to eat if one has high cholesterol.
