Have a Simmons 6-18 scope that looks like heck, but works just fine - a 2.5 - 8 Bushnell Scopechief with rub marks on the knurling of te rear ocular thiungee - works just fine - and a 3-8 Bushnell Banner that looks brand new and works as new. Would like all three of these to go to three different youngsters. Would like to get some once fired Federal Match .308 brass, .35 Whelan or .338 Win Mag brass somewhere down the road.
Please PM with address to ship scope and the name of the youngster.

Good job Bluesman! 'Wish I had a young whippersnapper in need of glass right now, but we're all "glassed up" here right now. Good on ya for offering these up to some deserving members of the next wave of hunters.

Remington 725,
Thos should go with one of the scopes I'm giving away - youngsters need to save as many pennies as possible to buy more ammo and a good set of ears.

Remington see thru mounts are claimed and have been sent to BandanaBandit1 and He should be Paying it Forward soon. Come on Campfire members you all know that you got stuff laying around that you're not going to use, so offer it up somebody could use it. Let's keep this thing from stalling.

there needs to be a new rule on here. I notice a lot of claiming items and the people saying they will "pay it forward soon" yet they never post anything. looking over the last couple pages I saw that several times.
My proposed rule change is this. a person can claim and item but it doesn't get shipped to him or her until they post an item to pay it forward with. If they do not post something it gets reposted for another person to claim.
It is not hard to find something. I always keep a few things on the book shelf that I no longer use/need for PIF items. We keep this thread going on someone puting an item up after claiming one. so COME ON PEOPLE, USE THIS THREAD AS INTENDED!!!!
Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money but we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money. What's interesting is the first group WORKED for their money but the other group didn't.
