The Kevlar Specials were McMillan stocks that were designed for Remington Custom Shop Rifles. For a long time they were only available through the Custom Shop. A couple years back, my understanding is the the contract with Remington terminated. And so now you can buy stocks out of the Kevlar Special mold through 24hourcampfire.
Note: McMillan doesn't build with Kevlar anymore. So if you want an ultralight stock, the lighter and superior ( to kevlar) EDGE technology is what you want. And you can also get a KS stock made in fiberglass, either painted or in molded in colors, in any of their fiberglass fills. Since you want a McWoody, it would be fiberglass.
A final note: KS patterns are designed for long action 700 ADL's only. Also, they max out at 13.5 LOP unless you are OK with spacers.
It is a suh-WEET pattern, for sure!! Similar to original Ti, but slimmer through the grip area, and much superior quality-wise IMO.
