Thanks 1minute,this is just what i was looking for.hows everything down home going?

Good here. Broke out this afternoon after our Belding ground squirrels. A local rancher has a newly planted field and herbage is still short enough for good shooting. The first spring pups are up to adult size now and much easier to hit. Established alfalfa fields have been too tall to shoot for over 3 weeks now.

Back on the ammo: I rattle through 8 to 12,000 rds each spring after our squirrels. With good shooting one does about a brick to a brick and half a day, and that is loading single shot. That being, I can not afford the high end stuff. For off the mom and pop shelf ammo, a Ruger 77/22 likes American Eagle hollow points, and an Anschutz is fond of Winchester Power Points.
