Thanks to everyone for all of the feedback. The new VX3 may be worth a shot, I don't have a Nightforce bank account, as much as I'd like to have a few of them. I would like to replace 3 scopes with something that will work a little better - I can buy all 3 in VX3 for the price of one Nightforce.

This might sound crazy but I've been having good luck with the midway exclusive weaver 3-10x40 mil/mil tactical.

I also like my midway mil/mil viper HS 3-15

And you wonder why they don't work right...

Why do you have to buy three at once?

Are you using all three rifles at once?

You can find used NF's all the time. I own 2 used ones... they work just like the new ones.

Slowly replace your loopies... might take a year or two but you'll be glad you did.

I've had to probs with the 3.5-10 leupys yet.... That said I've a bad itch for the lil NF y'all mentioned. Really wish S&B would do a turret but clark98 found all that out a while back.

A couple of pretty affordable scopes that I've tested lately that have very reliable adjustments are the Weaver Super Slam 3-15x and Vortex Viper 4-16x. I've also tested three VX-3's (two 3.5-10's and a 2.5-8x) all worked well too.

In testing quite a few scopes each year, my overall impressions is that adjustments have become much more reliable in the past few years in many brands, no doubt due to all the interest in long-range shooting.

The more I keep twisting my SWFAs, couple of the 3x9 and a 5x20, the more impressed I am. I have yet to have a single issue of any of them failing to track exactly as expected.

I've had 2 super sniper 10x42s and return to zero was absolutely flawless every time. I also had a leupold FX3 and the SS beats it easily for long range in my opinion. I'll be getting another SS for my new long range rig because I know they flat perform and it won't break the bank at $300

Had to go back and look at the SS. I do not see an MOA turret and only MIL reticles. Wouldn't work for me anyway.
