Kraft Factory Tour

On Saturday June 23, 2012 I went on a tour of the facility of Kraft Foods, Inc.
They are located a little over 8 hours away from my home in Northfield IL. Their factory is located at Three Lakes Drive, Northfield, IL. Go to their Web Site Kraft.com to see photos of their macaroni and cheese.

Its a fairly new building in a country atmosphere. It is a first class structure with all the amenities needed for manufacturing a Top notch High carb dinner.
Thats right these are nothing but the Finest Top Shelf pastas I have ever seen.
The three owners Capital Research Global Investors, State Street Global Advisors, Berkshire Hathaway Inc., greeted me at the door to start the tour.

I was taken into the factory area where all the good stuff goes on. First I saw the CNC machine that does all the machining on the macaroni for the Mac & Cheese. Then on to the next CNC machine that makes all the cuts on the 1" macaroni to their final profile.

Next was the most modern CNC machine for the boxes, wow what a piece of equipment. Then on to where the Box, lid and small parts are finished and oranged.

Along the way I saw the boxes of flour from the suppliers that were used to make the outstanding macaroni for the Mac & Cheese.

There were also stacks of Turkish Cheese Wheels on skids and also a lot of Cheddar Cheese work in progress. The Fit & Finnish is the Finest Ive seen and can only be compared to the top rated custom Pasta makers.

The Mac & Cheese is built for the discriminating collector & hungry hunter as well as anyone interested in the finest production boxed meals made in the USA. With the interchangeable cheeses of different flavors it is the all around meal for any type of feeding activity, be it dinner or afternoon snacks.

They are introducing a starter Mac & Cheese that is an outstanding piece for the price and still has most of the features of the higher grade Aged Cheddar Mac & Cheese. With a 50% down payment your meal could be ready in six minutes.

These should be available in about six to eight months. Hopefully they could be available through one of the great distributors of other fine boxed meals, like Walmart or Sav-U-More.
If Sam Walton doesnt pick these up he will miss the boat.

Thats all I will say about them for now until I get the chance to do some snacking in the future.

Thanks,

I was afraid my insanity was losing my fellow Single shot forum members.

I prefer to separate business (Pushing a product) from pleasure (my firearms hobby).

I'm a regional sales manager so I don't appreciate people peddling their wares when I'm busy enjoying my hobby.

Especially under the guise, "I just happenned to tour this plant....."

I still think you should pay a little more for the whiskey...
maybe move up a shelf or two, a couple extra bucks on the
check-out counter won't hurt and you'll be a better, more stable person for it..
thanks for the grins....

I made a trip to Denmark to tour the Carlsberg factory and they insisted we try out their products so we could write favourable reviews.... Mine follows:
