deal with it...

addendum... wife is in the family room watching the old movie.. "Best years of our Lives".. its at the end and Dana Andrews is walking thru a military scrap yard thru tons and tons of B 17s...

cool!

That's poached for good cause methinks. Symbolism there is profound and God bless the memory of Republic Aircraft. Always built hell for stout combat planes.

Web link here that tells a lot about the Thud. Might not bet there much longer. Take a listen at some of the mission audios.

DD,

Vermin in the yard is a bitch. Hate it when they are eating flowers. Been real poor light the last coupla days and I do sorta hate gunning schit backlit,as it ambles off.

Even worse, when they've friends in the fray.

Though sometimes, you can only do whatcha' can do.

'Cub,

Please feel free to use whichever excuses work "best" for you,to salve your Reality. I'm assuredly on pins and [bleep] needles, awaiting you to find enough pop cans to finally buy a scope. Laffin'!

Never have seen me a rifle before, let alone of the blueprint your "experience" compelled you to delve and I'm still running irons. Have heard of telescopic sights, but my locale precludes me from seeing any of that fancy stuff, let alone procuring same. Must be nice to be a steeped "hard charger" such as yourself.? Congratulations?!!? Laffin'!

Here's to your incredible ability to be satisfied with Nothingness,as you scour the 'net for a picture to fuel your Imagination and bolster your Pretend. I'll jump start the day for you and flip you a few scenes from yesterday,if only so you don't chip another nail in your GoogleFu Pursuits.

Cheer up...your Whine is wonderful.

Very much enjoyed your plagiarized pic of the Used Whale. Trouble is,Whales is blasse' and respond well to a leetle composition that tells a story. Hmmmmmmmmmm...how shall I arrange that for you,so as to keep your Imagination fueled and empower your Pretend,so as to grant you the most "satisfactions" outta plagiarism?

I got it.

Entertaininger than [bleep],that even someone as [bleep] Stupid as you...knows there is a 223AI on board.

Happy Imagination to you!

Shefire,

you just keep telling yourself, that you've really got it going on and mebbe in a few decades, you'll beat yourself down to the point where you'll alphuckingmost believe it.

Appreciate your taking the time to showcase all the things you nearly did, with all the wares you nearly had and from all the places you've nearly been.

Bless your heart.

'slave,

I cain't keep track of her Delusions. Is she still Pretending to Imagine you on Ignore?

Thanks for the clarification.

Laffin'!

'Moses,

"Congratulations" upon your being able to Imagine a flute, wherever and whenever you need one.

Pretend that it ain't so.

Here ya go Dan... another 'poached' photograph...

sort of cool.... wouldn't ya love to see a B 17G doing a low pass like that over the airfield....

that is a 91st BG '17... but that is supposed to be over Molesworth Air Field... so I've been up and down that runway as a kid....

[Linked Image]

when I was a young man, my 'imagination' (as Scthick the Deliverance Boy loves to accuse me of ) use to see things like that walking down that Runway...

there was still a few left over B 17 partial hulks at one end of the base, that we kids use to love and go climb all over...

England was a cool place to live in the early to mid 1960s...

"the war" hadn't been over that long back then...that stuff was all over the place...they were still finding unexploded bombs from the Battle of Britain, that had been dropped by the Germans... whole bunch of them were found in a field we kids use to play soccer on and where we taught the English kids to play baseball and football...which was hilarious...

That is a neat poach right there. The pilot woulda made a good Scout later on. One of those pics I've not seen, thanks.

I lived on Guam about the same time, same stuff with a slant. Have a Zero exhaust pipe on the TV console from the Marianas Turkey Shoot. The plane went to Japan, only one they have so far as I know.

Not poached. Needs a name or caption...."Balls"?

[Linked Image]

Boxer, that photo with the deer rack and whale...don't often seen something like that with context so scrambled. Been pondering that since you posted...what's the story there?
