Oh yup we get hozzed on everything. We splurged today and went halfers on a 8 pack of budwieser my share came to $7.12.I expect you fellas south of the medicine line can get a whole dozen for less than that. It's been a whole lot of years since I bought any beer but people from here go there to buy their meds. How is it possible for 'em to be less expensive there?

It is my understanding that the Canadian government controls the prices of medication. The US does not. The question of the generics is a good one. One of my wife's pills droped from $400 an month to $60 when it went generic. The only trouble is,if a new drug that is more effective comes on the market, what is more important, health, or wallet?

A friend of mine in the medical business has told me that not all the generics are as effective as the real deal. And insurance companies love to save money, so the generics often get the nod unless the perscribing physician specifies the brand name, you will likely get the generic stuff. I'm betting your wife is worth the extra $340 a month.

The comment about the generics sure is correct. My oldest daughter has to be on quite a lot of medication and in some instances, generic is all right but in others, not so.

So, what types of the generics are not as good? Good doctors follow up on any medication. Less than expected results, change the drug.
