picked it up today...

I actually have owned a Glock before, a G22 ~20 years ago. My P7 PSP is a nice 9mm, but the fricken' mags are $70 each, for 8 round mags, so the auxiliary house gun will probably be retired as a plinker, in favor of this G34. The Glock is also the first pistol I have owned with a rail, so I am debating if it will get a light, or a laser.

Nice that it came with 3 17 round mags, FWIW. I haven't handloaded the 9mm in a long time, so I guess that time will be a'comin...

I know I love my Glock 34. Lots of fun and easy to shoot good. But 45 is the smallest I reload for. Just don't have the time or patience to reload 9mm any more.

I know, I just bought a glock 20 on saturday again because of this place. I saw that glock 20 with 7 mags on the classifieds go and it got me all wound up. Went out saturday morning and bought one. I had one before and always kinda regretted selling. I think I'll keep this one. Jusr ordered a barrel for it. It truly is a sickness.

I appreciate what the Glock is and all - but I can't for the life of me understand why anybody bothers to photograph one. smirk

Shock value? grin

It don't look too bad with the Microtech Socom, which is a pretty wickedly fine knife. smile

Fair enough. Here's a photo of mine:

It nearly was grin There's three or four locally that would be fine acquisitions, and I almost bought a .38 Super Lwt Commander yesterday. In any case, I will be curious to see how this 4th Gen thing works smile I'll probably try a variety of factory ammo in it first, to make sure it is okay before I start handloading for it.

I looked at another G 34 yesterday.
In the used gun case.
Someone added extended controls..ok,
grip tape. Really sharp stuff!. ugh

but the turn off was the trigger.
He got it wrong. Long scratchy and creepy
I know it can be re-dome easily, but I've already got one nice 34..
The kid at the range was happy I didn't buy it, he is keeping his eye on it ( they have to wait at least a week..)
