OP jwheeler Campfire Member Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 434 Louisiana	I finally got this gun right but I think I want to go to a 35 Whelan. .35cal now legal in Louisiana for primitive weapon season. Anyway, its the Winchester 1885 BPCR in.45-70 with heavy Badger barrel. Very accurate with Hornandy ammuntion. Hunted 4 or 5 times. Fired about 22rds. Custom fitted Talley bases. 30mm Talley QD low rings and a Swarovski 1.5-6x42mm Habicht in like new condition. Black Winchester logo rubber pad added but I have the original checkered steel, case colored butt plate, box and paperwork. I've got around $2500 invested in the whole setup.
