Jeff Head out of Emmett, Idaho wrote a series of books on terrorists raising all kinds of hell in the USA and other parts of the world.

The series is called "Dragon's Breath."

Hispanic terrorists are who hit several malls SIMULTANEOUSLY in greater Denver, Utah, California and a couple other states.

Some of those same hispanic terrorits later set some HUGE fires in Colorado and other Rocky Mountain locations.

While muslum terrorists hit targets in the upper Mississippi River channels and chicom terrorists detroyed several series of dams in the Tennesee River region.

But as for Beslan, that's one I HOPE NEVER HAPPENS!

Targeting and hitting elementary or middle schools could totally shut down ENTIRE communities if not entire towns!

Where I live almost everyone of our public schools have major [community] arteries and thoroughfares [with 20 mph speed limits] that drive right past the front curbs of EACH of those schools. Terrorists could hold my entire town hostage by attacking one or all of our schools. Never mind our local military nearby!

Yep. & it will happen where the folks have been disarmed to ensure nobody can fight back. It's extremist to even hint or consider that teachers in public schools, or students in college be allowed to carry an effective means of self protection. This serves two masters. Terrorists and politicians.

There are plenty of "Fish in a barrel" options for those bent on evil. By design.

I think we will find the "flash mobs" have been a"test bed" for the next incident. Why else do you think and old man like me now carry's a G19 instead of a 5 shot J frame, and keeps a carbine in his truck? Especially considering where I live....

I find myself wondering along the same lines. Lt. (actually Captain, isn't it?), I obviously don't know you at all, but I've read a lot of your posts and I don't believe I've ever seen you post any type of dire prediction like this. I can't help but think that you might be aware of some intelligence that non-LEO isn't privy to.

I've avoided malls and large crowds since 1995, especially notable days. I aim to have the smallest vunerabilty possible.
Large body counts make better news stories making them more attractive to the crazies.

Well its been suggested that Malls would be the next big thing for terrorists, since hijacking airplanes don't work any more. I am surprise that has not been an attempt. My guess is that the Intel guys and the FBI have been very effective on that score to date, but it only take just one.

You can carry a gun in a mall, no one is armed in a school.

I'm not sure of the effectiveness of a gun against 10 pounds of Semtex in a shopping bag with glass bottles of petrol.
