When you guys are backed into the corner with facts, all you can do is hurl insults. A very childish but common tactic. If you want to help a foreign company (that steals American designs)dump $hit on American shores (& sold below cost because they get money from their own government) that's up to you. My health and safety and regard for my fellow man is important to me. I hope you enjoy the free stuff they give you to sell your souls.

You are incapable of making lucid statements and certainly never present facts. You comment on stuff you have no clue about. I believe the car in question is made overseas whereas every Japanese,Korean and a few German car companies are situated in the good ole USA. If you regarded you health and safety and that of your wife you wouldn't buy that POS.

Finally the discussion is muzzleloaders not cars and you are out of your element discussing the merits any firearm with the exception of a Daisy BB gun and I almost doubt that.

Wow even attack a man's family. CVA owners show their colors. The facts really get to you, don't they?

Not in the Philipines like the brand you suggested.

You're a little out of touch. Redfields are made and owned by Leupold in the state of Oregon.

Isn't it amazing that everytime the subject of CVA is brought up Mr.Swampy has to add his two cents even though he claims that they're the devils handiwork. The thread was started as a review of a new gun but as usuall he has to chime in with his negativity of which no one is interested.People who are actually interested in the review then have to deal with his never ending drivle about his Precious TC's,his precious wife, and his precious import. And Swmpass,if you really gave a rats ass for for fellow man like you claim, you'd steer clear of these conversations and stick to the TC loving ones on Greybeard. No one on here needs a warning from you on the dangers of the devils firearms.By the way i own 7 CVA's and 2 TC's and the CVA's will outperform them in every area and and half the price.

Well he thinks Leupolds are made in the Philippines, so why should we believe he knows anything at all?

i bought mine BECUSE of this review. now i have a damn question lol. you show mention of swapping out breech plugs for one designed for bh209.is there a reason not to shoot bh209 w/ the factory breech plug? just curious cuz thats what i prefer. i do have a bunch of 777 and goex ffg and two boxes of white hots but i was not all that happy w/ the white hots the first time i used them. they seemed corosive and stunk to high heavens. any input either way woud be great. thanks again guys!

The original BP was designed before BH 209 was invented. It's actually made for pellets.

If you want reliable ignition with BH 209. You need a BP designed for it.

80 grains of Pyrodex RS might be safe.

Found this on Modern Muzzleloader from June 21st 2012.

On top of the fact that you didn't find it. Safety is the issue not accuracy....we kept loads light and we threw them away when CVAs started blowing up left and right.

Sorry Swampy but your post on Modern Muzzleloader states that you son is still using his 15yrs later. Clearly just stating what you typed. By one reading what you typed I do not see how if he's still shooting it 15yrs later you threw it away? Need a shovel?
