I had a strange thing happen with a hasting turkey choke, in my browing. I shot one shot and killed one turkey with factory Federal shells in my invector plus browing using a hasting choke tube, when I tried to unscrew it it was hard to remove. After I got it out I saw that the end was mashed inward toward the bore on one side and had plastic ( I guess from the wad) behind it.
Has this happened to anybody else?
And yes the choke was an invector plus choke and yes it was screwed all the way in. I had shot maybe 10 shots thru it before.

No, i've never had that issue or any problems with Hasting choke tubes, that i've used in my Rem.'s or Beretta's. I've used both the internal and extended versions of Hasting tubes. I hope it didn't bugger up the threads on your Browning.

It did not mess up my threads but it could have messed up more than that if I had shot a second shot. I am going to call them (Hasting) after the first of the year.
