Rules that need to be added:

No typing in your underwear.

Refrain from picking your nose while typing, if you insist on doing so be careful that the matter you are removing is not gray. If it is you are probably digging too deep, while engrossed in the subject matter. See posts by Moderator, no other cautions should be necessary on this subject.

Don't beat your wife. Take care of her like you would your new car, both will probably be someone elses someday and no one likes to have to take used up, damaged stuff.

Enjoy the site. New rules will be posted soon and often.

(think I could get a job there?)

Ok, I haven't been there. Like another poster said, why go if its full of AH problems? I fail to see the point really. Maybe if I ever get ideal time I"ll go see. There are a few Highpower sights just like this one is supposed to be. One read through and you know to never log on and to stay away.

Guess I just don't get the point.

One would assume that if I went there and said the 7 rem mag was better I'd get what I'd expect. Heck if the sqabble was over 300 Win mag being easy to find, I'd bet heavier on 06 than the 300 Winny. And don't we think that most folks that fall onto the issue of a "new Wildcat gone factor" that they would either reload or have enough sense to pack plenty of ammo along? I know the times I've gone out of state, especially if flying, I send 100 rounds ahead, and take about 60 with me on the plane.

Just seems senseless to argue with idiots. I believe there is also a reference to a long 7 mag where the author could care less about short mags-- again, why even go to the site then?

It would be like Stick going to a gay chat room......

There is very little there of interest these days.
I know this becuase i check in every now and then to see if anyone has built a new wildcat.
Jeepers, the place is so screwed up there are more
miscelaneous rfle posts there than anything!!
The shortmags are not the end-all and be-all, that's for sure!
When I first started messin' with the 270WSM case I posted there a lot nd got some pretty good info from the site, but got just as much from benchrest central - go figure!

Finally we have someone to keep us on topic. We are simple folk and sometimes our attention wanders but I think you will find that there are very few smarta$$es here. I'm sure that with your attention to detail you will enjoy many hours of interaction with the members here. Welcome back!

Not saying who is right or wrong reguarding the ejection of STW, but the guy is the one putting up the time and the board, he should be able to mold it however he wishes, then we are free to decide if the board is for us.
If he is being too anal, the board won't last, on the other hand it may draw those who have his exact intrests.

I only jumped in here to support 7, because I had visited that site 2-3 years ago curious about the short mags, and really, if they are your thing, I'm fine with that, just felt like throwing my towel in with 7STW. Stick hit it dead square as usual, there isnt enough good info there to warrent participation, and the site moderator does run it in a very pecular way (and that is an understatement). His position is simple, one good thing to say about a standard cartridge, and bingo, you are history, the little tyrant needs to be packing his one shotless wonder with an irate bear on his rear end.

All,
This board is now the only one I frequent anymore. I used to only hang at the Kifaru site until it went sideways with a new member (IMO) over a year ago. I see a few of the Kifaru folks here as well (the good of course)

I guess Im getting old and lack the necessary social skills that would allow ole Tom to ignore certain comments.

I would hate to see this board go the way of the Kifaru forum.

7.. My N.Calif. friend Law dog, In his usual eloquence, stated what I really meant to say. If I hurt your feelings. Please accept my most sincere apologies.

Chessie. Im sure to jump topic at anytime, please do what you can to keep me on the straight and narrow

Stick,
Thanks

Safe and happy New Year to all!
