I'm tired of throwing away holsters for my phone every three weeks because the belt clip falls off or it tears. Any durable ones out there that you can recommend?

Thanks.. BP...

I carry mine in a shoulder holster,

And occasionally an ankle holster as the situation dictates.

Had one of these for 2 and a half years now and it's showing no signs of failing.

Pockets won't work because of moisture. I'm a boilerpig and in the 32 years of doing this I have only been in one air conditioned boiler room. wink

I have two of those and they're holding up well also. I put some 2 part epoxy on the back to prevent it from spinning.

I like that rubber band method, and its cheap too. Kidding aside. I have my iPhone in an otter case, and I just put it in my other back pocket. I make so few calls that its almost not worth having a phone at all.

Over my dead body! All kidding aside, I've got the same problem. Culminated in a lost work phone at a gas station and 130 mile extension to a 1000 mile driving day to retrieve it after the belt clip broke. Now the danged things just go in a shirt pocket or pants pocket. Smart phones just make it worse by their size.

I do get the OEM case and clip off of Amazon every 6 months or so for when I absolutely just need to have a belt clip. Only about $12 there and replacing it before it breaks isn't a killer to the checking account.

I'm gonna make one like Idaho1945, I think, has on his "Mule Ride" thread. Leather on a leather strip around the neck. Not for every day probably, but I'm gonna try one.

17ackbee has it right. I lost three phones with the cheap plastic crap until I bought this one. Wore one out, but only the magnet on the flap. I now have duct tape over it to wear better. Almost indestructible and you never have to wonder where your phone is.

I think, therefore I am, conservative.
