A 7 ShamWow on a 3" box wouldn't suck. I rather like the Atlas DBM on my Sako Hunter and think it's a nice way to fly. I was under 100 clams a pop on my Atlas DBM.
Ive always thought a mid weight hunter such as what Im throwing together now would be the bees knees with a badger DBM. You mentioning Atlas bottom metal and 3" COAL mags got me all horned up...I fired an email just now to AtlasWerks about their bottom metal availability in Kanada. Now...what mags are you talking that are affording a 3" COAL? I dont see and "Atlas mags" on their site. AICS?
