Sam Donaldson didn't say who won, he just blathered on about Obie's good point (singular ) Didn't catch the other fellow's name, but he said there was a "clear" winner: Romney! And this on ABC! Makes me wonder how long HIS job is gonna last donaldson needs to go glue a new beaver to his head, get on back to the ranch and have a big frosty mug of STMFU. Gunner

This will be remembered as the night that Romney "Won" the presidency.

expect O to come out nastier next time.
Which might backfire, like it did for Carter v Reagan.

Now what can Obama do in the next debate to save his a&&? Send in Biden or Michell the [bleep] to subb for him... Or Forfeit ! Nah, He's toast now unless Satan Intervenes & shows the mark of the beast on the back of Bambams head. Which probably wouldn't be that big of a suprise to most Christians...

....
when he stuck in the shiv about the subsidies to Obama's donors' green companies and how they dwarf the oil depletion allowance, Obama looked like he wanted to stick a shank in Romney, and he didn't get a chance to strike back....that was the most pissed he looked all night.
...... That was a hard hit and Obama seemed off balance the rest of the debate.

That's on now and he's not there. Did he quit for the night? Maddow is on there. He probably needed a moment to compose himself.

I am watching MSNBC and stunned at their conceding that Romney clearly won the debate. I would expected the most they would say it was a push.
It was so lopsided that they had no choice. This is great!!! I am actually proud of Romney tonight.

It was a stunning defeat for our little liar. Heavy on warmed over talking points. But mainly this: when you lie for a living, sooner or later the truth will finally crush you!

Which might backfire, like it did for Carter v Reagan. Good point, the only credit they give to BHO tonight is that he was "dignified". If he looses that, what will he have left?
Is it too ambitious or too naive to look for an honest politician? Or simply a useful one?

I think I'm going to have to send Romney $10 bucks after this display.... Before the debate, I was a Romney supporter simply because I, like a lot of people here, can't envision the United States surviving another four years of Obama. After the debate, I am now an enthusiastic Romney supporter, and will likely contribute to his campaign. So let's watch the money flow in October, that should give us some indication of who will be the next president. Unfortunately, I also think that Obama's poor showing tonight increases the chance for some kind of "October Surprise" that he will try to leverage into a last gasp effort to save his presidency.

It will be interesting to see the polls. I don't see a bump for Romney - or at least one that stays by next week.

The polls were screwed from the beginning, based on voter turnout for 2008.
