Head out next Monday to 54, second season. Getting all kinds of stuff ready on the cattle places to where we can be gone, repaired 2 water tanks today and have truck getting serviced. Good luck and safe keeping for everyone! I know exactly where you're coming from, my wife is being left in charge of 5 farms' worth of cattle. Seems like the ornery cusses never get sick or push fences til I'm out of the area.
God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy...

I know exactly where you're coming from, my wife is being left in charge of 5 farms' worth of cattle. Seems like the ornery cusses never get sick or push fences til I'm out of the area. Hubby is trying to get all the horses on his lists shod before we go, so all the farm work, cattle secure, getting the trailer, truck, clothes, mules, tack, firearms... that's all me. That's fine! I will know where everything is at and be ready for him to grab his gear back and get in the truck
I ride mules, hunt every chance I can, and even take my husband with me!

Did the final pile up in the garage tonight, headed out tomorrow to my sisters in central Kansas, then the 4 of us will be in unit 54 by mid afternoon Thursday. If you see us in a white F350 or green F250, Kansas and Missouri plates, say howdy.
