Careful with a statement like that. Peoples will dissect and read into that til hell wont have it. But, I get it and understand what you're saying smile

Good on you Bea for the self control. I can hammer the piss out of the ol block target out to quite a ways. As far as 50+ yards some days. I wouldn't dare tempt fate past 25 yards though much like you. If you start doing that it takes out all the fun of bow hunting, especially that of a traditional stand point. It's supposed to be up close and personal not some long range impersonal sniping.

Keep your powder dry and stay frosty my friends.

Well you made me take my long bow off the wall. I sanded it down some so it went from 60 at 26 to around 55 at 28.

Staining it is in order next and then I might take it out late November for a turkey if I can shoot well enough with it.

LOL Brinky, 30338 here on the fire sent me a very generous gift in the mail today, BRAND NEW FREE ARROWS grin, and they are the same kind I have ordered.

I shot my bow a bit today before dark, 5 yards-perfect, 10 yards-perfect, 15 yards-shot high.

So, just how do you men get low enough behind the arrow at full draw to aim at the target?

Oh, and I do have DVD's permission to litter up his thread with questions. wink
