I was just going to mention the Porkeye match... I was runner up last year, and this year I will be gunning fr the win.  Should be a lot of fun! Maybe Enrique will shoot the entire thing with that .32-20 this time? The rare and special .357 Magnum revolver I'll be fielding ( I currently have $44.00 invested , total) is going to show you pikers what longer range pistola accuracy is really all about. Be advised. GTC I bet you're going to cheat and practice beforehand, aren't ya?  Ed

Refresh my memory on the rules for this match so that I can adequately prepare for the inevitable embarrassment. Whoa Ben, what embarrassment? This past Summer at Q you shot beautifully and were a very close (only .2 inch) 2nd to Jon in the "100 yard Heart of the PD" shoot (the 1/2" red dot). And you were shooting a borrowed .220 Swift you had never even handled before you went to the bench. I hope that you do shoot the Pork Eye.

Paul, I think Ben is referring to OTHER people's embarassment, not his. I can see a man of his age wanting to ensure (pun intended) that he had Nitro tabs handy when he starts laughing at the misery of us other folks... Ben sure can shoot! I also think Jon should stand down for the Porkeye match. Wouldn't want him hogging (pun again intended!) all of the trophies! Ed

I am planning on shooting the Pork'Eye this year with my open sighted 11" .45-70 Contender.... I figure when I miss the muzzle blast still might tip 'em over.

Do you think the fact that we shot in a "Chill Factor" condition may have had a we bit to do with that / Nah,.......we're all just lousy shots. All kidding aside ( not likely),....I'd like to borrow Ed's big SA 5 shooter, and use that to shoot the winning score. Ramirez and that damned .32 being the REAL challenge here, ya' know. GTC
