On the, "gently used" one, a nice solid Winchester red pad would make that rifle look great smile

This is one I found and am considering - any others I should be looking at?

1962 .264 win mag in Featherweight.Picked up this rifle for $350 with some brass and dies. The seller told me he had the rear sight punched so it wouldn't move when riding his quad! mad Maybe someone here can help. I live in quebec, canada and did some research on the rifle but I have some difficulties in finding real value for the rifle. Found lots in other calibers but not much in 264, seems rare in my region! You can clearly see the punch marks, some blue missin but wood is in very good condition. Thanks in advance!

That's a shame about the rear sight....You may want to check the condition of the bore (many are "shot out")....Looks like the stock has been refinished too. You've got one hell of a good action there with tons of potential and you did good at $350.00..........Keep us posted if you change it up a bit or if you find out the bore is pristine and it shoots dime sized groups at 100....

What a find, put yourself a 24-26" Douglas air guage winchester target profile barrel in 264 win mag and never look back, the feather weight barrel will not burn the powder.

Well, glad to be able to post this beauty here. I am now down to one (yes, 1) big game hunting rifle. About to send it off for bedding, but if it shoots as good as it looks a second stock will be ordered and life will be a lot simpler w/out horse trading rifles all the timegrin

Super Grade Featherweight in .257 Roberts. Finally found one with wood I liked, so I jumped on it. Hope it shoots as well as Jay's.

Damn Winchester quality control [bleep] up again!!!!!! It's one thing to slap the wrong extractor on one of these but when you forget the whole bolt, you know you've been smoking too much dope!!!! whistle
