Mannnnn...I'd love to do a country-wide traveling loop and get a Squirrel Grand Slam!

They got some spectacular black phase squill up around DC, or so I've heard.

On a related note, worked for awhile up near Portland Or, and the local gentleman's club was named "The Squirrel Cage".
I've always thought that to be the best name ever for a strip bar.
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

PPS: For scale, the palm frond stalks the black in on are about 2" wide at mid length and 3"+ near the bottom. We got one when I was a kid in Ga. that measured an honest 31" tip to tip....we used to call them cat squirrels cause they are about the size of a cat... You lived in Gawgia? Wow....you be OK for a cowboy! Seriously, I've heard that moniker myself...they get that big,,,sound like a herd of buffs running thru the tree tops sometimes.

On the topic of DC, I'm presently in the 'burbs of Fredericksburg, VA. Pretty country, more phoucin' white oaks than I've ever seen. Went to a restaurant the other night and was served by Alyce. One of the funniest gals I've run across in years.
They got a lot of cats round abouts. And like I said, or at least alluded to, squirrels everywhere, but mostly they wear suits. Population directly correlates to proximity to the Oval Office. Phoucin' place needs to be douched with a neutron bomb is my take. Exceptin' for Alyce. Of course.
Once I get home I ain't never, ever, gonna get on a commercial jet again. Whole scene makes me wanna puke. We've come a long ways from when it was fun to fly. Squirrels hired by the thousands to work for TSA, all a gross insult to the gene pool. Who gave their parents permission to breed? Jeeeesus....
D-I-L started whinin' about her hubby (oldest boy) being a dishwasher Nazi. I had to ask her what part of being an engineer did she not understand? Get used to I'm thinking, goes with the 6 figure salary and the good life. I'm trying to infect him with the Looney disease...slow start, but he does have an old ss .22 bolt I gave him a few years back, and a 9mm autojammer. I give it about 2 years before he's hooked on F Class chitt.
