I always loved that.

P.S.. Spray PAM on the bottom of that thing, and send BGG on a death ride.

One of the little spots in town is called 'Hospital Hill', it is actually near the hospital so that is handy.

Just poored the second whiskey the day for my sore Va-J-J.

Heating element went out on a calf waterer, found it froze up first thing this morning. Replace, feed, straw, go chop ice on a dam and another tank.

[bleep] this Winter horsechit already!

Then I get home and replace the over stove microwave and of course the new one's venting and bracket setup don't match. It would have taken you probably 1 hour tops, took me around 3 but that [bleep] is not coming down! Used some sweet lag bolts and homemade straps, you would have been very impressed.....grin

Looks like fun 'Flave and BGG!

Probably 6 or 7 loads of kids were sledding across the street this afternoon.

I love it here. So funny to see pickups and minivans say [bleep] it and jump the curb and drive across the 'city park' land just to get 50-100 yards closer to the sledding spot. If we get a little more snow later on they will be getting stuck.

Cheap entertainment watching them try and get unstuck.

Fatjack got in way more hunting today than I did

It is a wee bit early for winter. Ain't it?

BGG tried to kill me today.

Who knows, could be t-shirt weather around Thanksgiving. Hopefully the snow will melt off but it might not.

8F now, down to -3F tonight, that should take care of the flies.....grin

I would not let BGG take me like that on the sled!

-2 here now.

I was 10 years old again for a little while today (alright 16 when it was me and Dave whistle )

Ain't no chit, 600 lbs of sledding fury! Had we greased the skids we'd be a grease spot on the road.

I hadn't sledded on a good hill for years!

I'd hit some coulees around here, but I'd be wearing 10 lbs of cactus.

Or a friggin' rock!

We'd pull sleds around the hayfields with pickups or snowmobiles. Always sucked to hit a frozen cow turd.

Yeah, did that as a kid with 4 wheelers Sam.

No chit on the rocks too. Too bad, there would be some badazz hills here close.

Used to pull a hood off a 86 Mustang behind a Artic Cat Wildcat (700 cc). Had a recliner mounted to it.

Nothing like doing 65mph in a barkalounger. Till it tips over and you end up with face shield full snow at speed.

Had a buddy with a VW graveyard in his backyard, would take the hoods off square backs and pull those on the hills. Thin German metal, would wear through at the peak pretty damn quick, sucked if you were sitting on the middle.

What's gonna happen when the tree rats score? How do we know they scored? Will it hurt?

Tree rats generally go for nuts.... so I'm guessing here but it's not good for the receiving end.

No POWs and no escapees. Slightly damaged feeder from a through and through. Surprising the punishment these little coksukers can absorb...head shots are final, paralysis, pass throughs with mucho bleeding, and they try to flee...had one run up the tree and drop 3 stories and try to crawl away....resilient priks!

Always gonna wonder how pigs manage an abbreviated squeal with a bullet in the brain bucket, but they usually do. They don't climb trees though.
