I daresay, amigo, that it might well jeopardize more than just a Randall or a gopher gun, like, mebbeso your life!
Guns, knives, and dogs aren't necessarily better than women, but they are often more enduring. They are almost always more enduring. They are better over the long haul but come up short from time to time. I've a 50th anniversary coming up with a gun....it never bitches about anything. As cheap to maintain as a cleaning rod and a bottle of gun oil, never divorce you, never get an injunction against you, never ask you if their stock looks big, their silent treatment is only a shell away from curing, you usually can sell'em for more than you paid for'em...the list of attributes goes on, and on, and on.

Me and the Randall Tanner wants just celebrated 40 years together...a great deal more than all the women Ive known in aggregate... It prolly never gave you any grief along the way, either, or disappointed you.

I've got a lefty Remington 788 in 6mm Remington in an E.C. Bishop and Sons stock that is almost that old. It was my first centerfire rifle. I bought the barreled action and stock separately and my father inletted it and put it together for me. Also have a Mk IV Series 70 Colt 1911 that I bought the day I turned 21.
