You commie bastards sure talk funny. Yes we do, but you inbred redneck pr!cks really are funny....and not in the ha ha sense either. That cut deep, Mick Dundee. watch out, he might whip out his "knife" Funny you should say that, I just picked up a very nice Robeson 623420 with a 1922-1939 stamp. Robeson. Very pleased with myself.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

Do any of y'all shoot a 6.5x284? I've been kicking around getting one. I was planning to get a 204, but I just saw a 6.5x284 that tickles my fancy, too.

Travis Here is a link to Charley Noyes' site. Robeson info I like them as much as the Cats and circle C and XX era case.

Florida boy, Had one for about two years. Kick ass cartridge at least when built on a LA. Finally rebarreled mine to a 9.3. I had my 6.5 built with a 24" barrel. If I ever go back to another dedicated LR rig, it'll have a 28"+ barrel and probably be a 6.5 Gibbs or a 280 AI or some such. Why don't you buy my 6.5 'package' on the classifieds and be done with it? PS was getting 3000 fops with 140/142 gr out of mine wth sub MOA accuracy.

What are your impressions? I see one available in a long action, 24" tube, in stainless/laminate. I don't think this thing is cataloged, so it's probably a pretty scarce item. I figured the long action would facilitate seating bullets out where they need to be. I really need the 204 more, but this particular rifle was available once before and I didn't do anything with it and I've kinda regretted it. It would give me a long-shooter to play with having moderate recoil.

It's a barrel for a Rem 700 so all you need is a donor action. Anyway, it is an awesome LR cartridge. Moderate recoil with great selection of bullets.
