I'll one of the couple F&G guys that I get along with and ask, but per their own publication:

COYOTE
No closed season.
Night Hunting: Coyotes may be hunted at night from Jan. 1 through March 31. Lights may be used, except from a motor vehicle, snowmobile or OHRV. Coyote night hunters are restricted to shotguns, .22 caliber rimfire, muzzleloaders or archery equipment in those towns with special rules (see rifle prohibition map).
Electronic calling devices are legal.
Written landowner permission, filed with the local conservation officer, is required to hunt coyote at night or to place bait for coyotes.
Baiting is not permitted on ice-covered public waters.

The little yote pack on the riverbottom has turned into my dad's pets. He was feeding them old hotdogs this morning.

Magpies aren't complaining.

I get a kick out of them for now but might have to cull one or two by the time we start calving.

The hound dog loves to chase those sneaky [bleep]!

Hey, I just found a good example of penetration. Not "over penetration", but adequate from all appearances.

Alleged to be 24" thick, part of a WW2 era Japanese Battlewagon that got poked by a 16" AP round. This'll work on 'yotes...or anything else I'd think.

I'm counting that as my good deed for the week! grin

If you don't mind some hiking, I have a few good winter spots. Given what we've seen for 'yotes this year in the deer woods, there may be more available that are easy to access.

I'm thinking Deerfield and Barrington aren't bad for you. The New Durham spots are a little further....
