Does anyone have one of these in 22lr? Saw a new one at a local gun shop the other day for $450 and thought that was kinda expensive for a .22lr but it did seem to have a nice quality fell to it. how would these compare to a 9422 (I guess good luck getting one of these any longer!) or 39A??

Just curious, not really in the market for one, but it seems like it (a lever action .22lr) could be a lotta fun for a day walking around plinkin' <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I assume it's a bl-22. I have one, as well as a marlin 39. They are quite similar in quality overall, with some bits better on the browning, and vice - versa. Both should shoot very well, indeed. The feel is different, the bl being very compact and fast handling, the 39 being more deliberate. Being short, the bl fits me better for snap shooting and it's a hoot to fold the rear sight down and snap shoot bumble bees and similar "targets of opportunity".
