From what I saw Bushmaster is owned by Ceberas who also own Remington and they are saying they're going to put the company up for sale.
Lots of stuff floating around out there that's for sure.
I also agree that any store that pulls their products won't be seeing my business again either. You're either with us or against us and like someone else said they'll survive without my dollars but at least I know they have a few less!
I was told this evening that Academy Stores here in San Antonio had pulled their AR15s also. Don't have any verification on that but hope to get by one here soon.
Walmart also pulled their AR15 from what I read in the print media.

Principle, is everything with Dick's and Walmart. Either your with us or not. The're all such morons (our government). If they'd have kept their mouths shut, sales would have been normal. They talk a form of gun control, sends the country into panic mode. Now there is not an AR to be found in the country. The whole country went on a frenzy. Now "We the People" own more AR's and AK's than before. I love it! I do pray for the family's, Pray they have the strength to endure.

i will never go into a dicks store again. and i have bought very few guns from them but bunches of other stuff. they will continue to survive and thrive without me i'm sure. there are millions of overweight soccer moms out there who need another undersized pair of stretch pants to cram their fat asses into. but my money will not go into their coffers again.

When I first moved to Texas I took a part time job working at Dicks in the "Lodge" or hunting and fishing and truth be told, they dont make chit out of that section of the store their bread and butter is in apparel and footwear so I dont really think they care. While I worked there 90% of the gun and ammo sales were off sales in weekly flyers. I never buy anything there personally regarding hunting and fishing since I quit working there (and lost my employee discount....grin) as there prices arent very good unless its on a good sale and their selection is quite limited. Chit a lot of the time I could get better deals at Academy even after my employee discount!
