I tow 5000 lbs with mine and it's pretty damn decent. All depends on what you're used to. Ain't no turbo diesel, but it's definitely a V8. Coming from towing 5000lbs with a 3.0l 6cyl with 200 ft lbs, 315ft lbs of the 4.7 is night and day!

I've got an '05 Sequoia 4.7 V8 with 216,000 miles on it, still going strong. I anticipate it will be my oldest son's first vehicle when he starts driving in 6 years... Now 220,000
