Nice sled. A friend of mine used to have one like that. After the twins were born he figured he wouldn't have much time to ride so he sold it. It was a very good sled.

I picked up a new battery for my sled. It will be nice to have electric start agin. "LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW!! smile

I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

Bring your sled Muffy. We have about 10" of fresh snow for you to play in.

I did a wee bit of trading at the gun shop today and feel that I came away much the better.I got a Ruger Model 77 Hawkeye in .223 with a Bushnell 6X18X50 scope.Good looking like new rifle. Can't wait to get to the gun club and shoot it.

If you have to take a second shot then you probably shouldn't have taken the first shot.

I was going out to blow snow when I remembered that according to the Mayan calendar, the world is going to end tomorrow (21st). So I said the heck with it.

had a shot at a doe tonight, got excited and rushed it, think I shot under her. went and looked for 15 minutes, no blood and I watched her run a long ways, it happens. my best friend from high school is coming to hunt with me first weekend in January, haven't seen him in many years, so I'm pretty excited!

Nice lookin sled Dave! lucky man you are! hows Nate coming with da stabbin cabin?

Everything happens for a reason, sometimes that reason is that you're stupid and make bad decisions.

Nice work Stan! I did some gun trading today too. I wanted to trade my Benelli (Super 90) for a an AR, but I ended up trading it on a different Benelli.

No snow here but there is a nasty wind that kicked up and cooled it right down.

burning the midnight oil on it as I type this!
actually I forgot all about it with hunting season and all. I'll see if uncle Dusty or Dave can remind me how to make them, I think it's a laptop fan and a battery? I'll get it.

Darn Mayans. Ended up having to blow snow. Glad I didn't max out the credit cards!

We ended up with only 8". Middleton (Near Madison) was the winner with 19.5".

19.5" IS Plenty. They can have it!

A lot of ours melted last weekend with the rain. I'd say we're probably down to about 6-8" left on the ground. Maybe a bit more.

My dang step-dad is trying to talk me into one of those snow scooters like ND just got. It's been many moons since I've actually owned one. There is a lot to choose from in about any price range you can think of.

I lost interest in them years ago. My dad sold SnoJet, Rupp and Wheel Horse so we could ride anytime. Gor bored with it and never went back.

Speaking of backs, I don't think mine could handle the pounding anymore. I know the new machines are much better riding, but your body still pays a price.

Well there is NO WAY i'd get a new machine. Lotsa $ for those babies. I realistically won't be getting one this year.

The new(er) machines ride a lot nicer and are lasting longer and longer.

How well does it work with heavy snow? My uncle just bought a Grizzly 550 w/ a Moose plow.
