You're gonna bring it anyway......... .45lc SBH or G20sf (if I find one and can "JUSTIFY" it). Anything elsecwr can borrow from your dad

I would SERIOUSLY consider using one of THESE: http://www.coldsteel.com/Product/95ES/ASSEGAI_SPEAR_(LONG).aspx I need to know how much second or third piggies are, and if sows and other non trophy boars are less to skewer. Also the real life likelyhood of getting close to several animals in this short amount of time. I have long desired to take a big game animal with an Assegai spear. Already I am churning in my mind what collectable toys are about to be sacrificed to make this hunt go down for me. Anyone here have the hots for a Winchester Model 71 Long tang or a Savage model 1899H Take Down carbine in 22 Hi Power?

Just curious what the percentage of kills were. Maybe if I can get work schedule worked out I can get a spot.

I was really hoping to make it this year, but will be starting a new job in less than a month. (BIG career change)
I've been there before and it's a fun place, would personally leave the center fire rifles at home and bring a pistol/muzzle loader or ideally a bow.

Just curious what the percentage of kills were. Maybe if I can get work schedule worked out I can get a spot. With a rifle a person would have to be blind to not be able to get a shot and even if you were blind you could probably still get one. Limit your range to under 50 yards and the bigger guys are a bit tougher to close the deal on. I was there a few years back and the little guys you can damn near trip over while their sleeping, but it took me a couple days to seal the deal with my bow on a nice boar (largest in our group that year) I would SERIOUSLY consider using one of THESE: http://www.coldsteel.com/Product/95ES/ASSEGAI_SPEAR_(LONG).aspx Also the real life likelyhood of getting close to several animals in this short amount of time. I have long desired to take a big game animal with an Assegai spear. With some patience, I'm sure you could make this happen. ps: Would still love the Winchester of yours, just no $$

Scott...and all interested. For the 12th,I'm thinking of this Hotel for a evening of fun in Nashville before we roll into Monterrey the next late morning. If not out of your way, and if you can get me back to the airport,if I decide to fly, I'll cover your room and dinner on the 12th. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Re...hville_Opryland-Nashville_Tennessee.html

That will work, I'm all about Hilton properties. Lost my diamond status about a year ago and I think I've dropped out of Gold now, but still have lots of points

Dan...depending on what the others do or can't do,I'll go in on SUV with you,if necessary. If the Hampton is a issue,I stayed here last visit to Nashville and it's a excellent, perfectly located hotel,as well. Plenty of time to work the details. Hell,if Scott can take us to and from as strays,he can keep his wallet in his pocket on the 12th. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Re...hville_Downtown-Nashville_Tennessee.html
