BD...never did well keeping those orange, black white, yellow snakes straight...coral snake kills you I think and king snake ok? And then there is another similar isn't there?

BD is right...red on yellow, kill a fellow, thats a coral snake, red on black, freind of fatjack, its a king snake,,no others I know of except derivations on those themes.

Another thing Ive found, though dont consider it an absolute is that EVERY coral snake Ive seen has a black head or at least nose.....


King snakes can go with about any color on the head, including black...

Only snake I know of with color even faintly like coral and king snakes is the banded krait.

King snakes are cool, they wrassle with rattlers. Indigo snakes do so as well. Goofy bastids kill Chitt by beating it to death. Sorta like a terrier will do to a rat. Corals are shy and retiring, short of tooth and stature, but if you win that lottery you are up to your ears in doodoo. Like a redhead with an attorney.

Milk snakes up my way look a bit like it...but not as much of the black and fatter. I read an interesting quip on coral snakes anti-venom....not a money maker because of rarity of bite occasion but costly to produce so they do not produce much...which means you should probably put one round in your ear before you go into respiratory arrest due to lack of administration of anti venom because [bleep] Pfizer didn't value your life as much as their profit margin! Same way I feel they do their Cancer meds programs too....more profitable not to find a cure! Sonofabitch
