I've seen it before, but I can't recall or find what I'm looking for. Who do you contact to get information about an old Winchester? Model and serial numbers, and then they tell you about it. Thanks.

You are talking about the Buffalo Bill Historical Center and Cody Firearms Museum. They only have records for pre 1907 Winchesters. You need to know the model of your gun. If you need help with that just PM me.
I believe the cost is $55 and it's well worth it IMO.
