The 223 AI just doesn't add up for me. If I wanted it to go faster than a 223, I'd pick up another .473" bolt face 700 in an SA and go 22-250 or 220 Swift. It may have something to do with the fact that I already load 223 on a Dillon 550B to feed the ARs.

Which is why I was going to take this extra lower I have here, and put together a 223 with a 1:12, free float tube, RRA 2 stage trigger, prone stock (or even an A2) and just shoot 50 grain Vmaxes and rock on... I will admit, a heavy AR with a brake and 20 rounders tends to eat up ammo and heat up barrels quite a bit faster than a bolt gun... But then some dumbass shot up another school, and Black Jesus hinted about "gun control" and now my next AR build is at least a year away now
