Any of you have any experience with the S&W M&P? +1 I'm thinking about one too.

I have a M&P compact 9. Like it so far. Easy to shoot and no hitches yet. Dad carries the full size. If I had it to do over, I'd go full size too.
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

Any of you have any experience with the S&W M&P? +1 I'm thinking about one too. The Sheriff's Office in my 'burg issues them. I haven't heard of any probs or complaints regarding them. The M & P's did have a version with the magazine safety, a feature that some like, and some don't. I read a while back that the three main auto's doing well at I.D.P.A. matches were the Glocks, the M & P's, and the Springfield XD's. Obviously that's not including the 1911-oriented matches. I've never shot or used an M & P or an XD. I have no complaints with my Glock 32.

I like the looks of the M&P, but have no issues with the Glocks I've carried for years. I hear good things about the M&P.

Had a really odd day yesterday. Saw a doc at 10:15. He tells me I need a vaccination. I said OK. He says he'll put in the order and it will take an hour. I said OK. 2 hours later I said "Hey, WTF?" He forgot to place the order. I left. Mrs. Dan calls on the cell and says someone from the UK is trying to make online purchases with our credit card so the issuer has canceled the card. I say "OK" and kept drivin', wondering how this is gonna work drivin' out to AZ in a couple days. (???) The Ex-GF of a neighbor had purchased a bunch of firewood for his house a few days before they broke up after 10 years. I asked if I could buy it from her and she says she needs to work that out with the guy who had already said "Take it but you'll need to pay her for it." WTF? I loaded 4 boxes of .30-30 brass. That went well for the most part, but discovered that an old 1# jug of Varget had been contaminated with what appears to be H335. I have no idea when or how. It's fertilizer now. I like the looks of .30-30 brass with 150 grain spitzers stuffed in them. They shoot well. We had a high near 80* yesterday. You guys crack me right the phouc up most times so the day wasn't a waste.  The Poobah put up a good girl pic but that one of the cross dressing dog was just phoucin' weird. Par for the day. Wish I could shovel some snow. Or shoot snow. BD Kill them. Dave

I have the M&P .40C. Dropped in a set of the Ameriglo Tritium I-Dot sights and te Apex DCAEK kit. Trigger as usual was gritty with a mushy reset before the apex kit, now the trigger is glass smooth at 5.5 #'s and reset is firm.
It's my EDC 90% of the time.
Planning a PRO Series for the night stand and fun gun but that will get the APEX 1911 trigger kit.
