My son and I brought our Model Sevens to the range, sighted in his new XCR 7mm-08 and shot some 120NBT's over the Chrony. The XCR is averaging just over 3000fps w/ a 20" barrel and 45.0grns Varget - not too shabby. Then we moved over and banged steel at 500yds until we ran out of ammo.

I was a dumb ass and didn't shoot the bear..... The snakes were in Santa Rosa. I was sitting in the truck while a lady I was guiding shot them with her bow.  ETA; yes they were.

Went out and shot one of my favorite, yet least use rifles. Mauser 98 w/ Ruger #3 barrel in 375 Win. The rounds marked with a sharpie were 37 grains of IMR4198. To hard to get consistent OAL and shcit, as evidenced by the shotgun pattern. The unmarked holes are from 35 grains IMR4198, Win LR, Win cases and 200 grain Sierra. I shot 2 5 round groups at 100 yards. 8 out of the 10 went into 1.5" and I am happy with that. A couple clicks right and it's ready to kill some more.
