I won't bore everyone with repeating what I've said about the VX6 I've had for the past 10 months. Use the search here to find them. It sits on a Tikka 7mag and unlike Idaho, hitting stuff out to 900 yards and everything in between is almost cheating when the wind cooperates. I've probably 200 round through it. It returns to the exact zero every time. I hate scope problems of any kind. Taking a statement from BobinNH, I wouldn't trust or take a Swaro A (Z3) on a ground squirrel hunt.

I was hoping you would chime in on the VX6 cause I know you like the scope alot and I trust what you have to say on scopes because you tell it like it is playing no favorites. They look like they are alot of scope for the money

I do wish they were a 1" tube though, but hey. Like you've said before, I'm really wanting to get my hands on one of those Conqest HD's.

Couldnt stand it so bought one myself w/ bc reticle..have had 3 of the burris six x's and thought i would "upgrade"...IMO, glass and eye box is better in the burris... saved one of the burris, but with the wrong reticle for me...will be swapping it out for the right one if it shows up, as they quit them once they got the steiner contract

yes.
I'm not a big fan of any 30mm scope, but i bought some of the six x's because they got the size / weight down and the eye releif increased from previous 30mm offerings....because of all the hoopla around the leupold i had to try one of those out as well, since they too didnt have an a.o....to cheap to try the swaro version.
if i ever stumble across a nice sightron bigsky w/ the hhr in this power range, i am thiking i will prefer that to either of the above since its more petite with the 1" tube..

I haven't found an AO or SF necessary in my 2-12 VX6.
