Hello,
This is an awesome Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather SS in 300 WSM cal. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this rifle, it is a SC made Model 70, CRF, with a 24" fluted stainless barrel and stainless action, in a Bell & Carlson medalist stock, bedded from the factory, with the new MOA trigger.

I bought this rifle new in May 2012 and am only selling it to fund another project or I would never let it go. It shoots awesome and has 86 rounds through the barrel including proper break-in. The rifle will shoot 1 inch or under with all ammo I have tried with it (factory 180 gr Winchester Power Points and both 180 and 165 Federal Fusions) and I'm sure that can be bested with tuned handloads. I just began handloading, but did not have a chance to handload for this rifle yet as the factory ammo shot really well out of it. So far it's been on two hunts with me (WY and AL) and has taken a medium bull elk, a good mule deer, a good pronghorn, and two decent white tails, all 1 shot kills.

As for condition, there are a couple of really minor scuffs on the stock near the heel, which do not show up in pics. The metal has no obvious scratches or issues, and the crown is perfect.

***I'm asking $900 shipped to your FFL within the lower 48, payment via USPS Money Order only and "I'll take it" posted on this thread trumps all. Please follow with a PM. (please make sure your FFL will accept shipment from a private individual)***Not Interested in trades at this time, thanks,

The rifle will come with the following:
Original box and manual/paperwork
Talley Lightweight 1 PC 1" Low Rings
Slightly used RCBS 2 pc full length die set
1 unopened bag of 50 ct Winchester 300 WSM brass
2 unopened bags (50 ct each) Nosler 165 gr Accubond seconds (bought from SPS)
2 unopened bags (50 ct each) Nosler 165 gr Partition seconds (bought from SPS)
***Scope in pic is NOT included***

This is an awesome rifle which shoots great, in one of the best all around calibers. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Craig

Couldn't agree more that these are great rifles. I have a Montana, a Finnlight and several other rifles, and the extreme weather always is the one I pick. Easily my favorite of the bunch. An honest sub 1/2 MOA rifle. Good luck with the sale.
