SOMEBODY needs to buy that deuce! Just can't warm up to a 600... Got a Jan '64 model in .35 Rem I'm not overly enamored with. That new 1A sure is tempting but I was just re-reading JB's ravings about the Hornet and its tickling my fancy.

I'm afflicted with SDD (Shooting deficit disorder), seems to be no cure for that addiction. So the only thing one can do is to feed it, as it assuages the symptoms. My latest attempt to scratch the itch............ Winchester model 70, CRF. 6.5 Leopard (6.5-300 WSM). Smithed by the late Bo Clerke. I got all my 'practical needs' covered in rifles so I'm thinking my next project is going to be a 6.5 Gibbs built just to throw 140's at Mach! Or maybe a .243 AI, or maybe a .22-250 AI, or maybe a .22-6mm, or maybe a 9.3 SA, Or maybe....
