(Psst...need a smaller scope on that gorgeous 1A, though!)  You're right, but I had the 3.5x10 glossy, handy, so that's what I mounted. Not bad for load testing, though, when you're running a .30-40 well above Krag loads. Long term I'll probably put a 2.5x8 on it.

Finally back at the hatchery. The lack of snow is depressing. Going to head out today and tomorrow to try and even the score with the deer killers (wolves). I've got an itchy trigger finger and chits gonna get shot!

Forgot to ask the specs on that 6.5 Ingwe..
Barrel contour and length? And what did it end up weighing sans scope?
Thanks. #5 contour, Broughton light varmint sporter, crowned at 25.5". Muzzle dia. - .686" Wieght, +/- 7.25 lbs. sans scope. Topped for now with 4.5 x 14 x 15 Zeiss Conquest. In the past I've pretty much kept my shots to 300 yds and under, but I've a couple spots to stretch out a lil' bit.
