DF: I dont even shoot a 9.3 but I'm guessing any bullet that shoots good in your rifle would be the one for whitetail... Agreed. It's not really a "marginal" cartridge that requires "premium" bullets. Maybe one should ask, "is there ANY bullet for the 9.3 that would be a POOR whitetail bullet?" I think the answer is no. I also think it is very possible to over think this issue.

My guess would be hornady interlock. Back a couple of years ago when I tested a bunch of 9.3 bullets and the interlock seemed to be the softest of the bunch. I'd be inclined to run the PRVI as I have about 500 here I bought back when they were cheap.

My only kill with the 9.2x62 was with a 280 cast at 2200 thou the ribs just a 50-75yds death charge and the lungs where much. Clint
