I look forward to hearing your report. I;m trying to decide between that pouch or an Alaska Guide pouch.

That was the other pouch I was considering. I wanted something more trim, though.
FHF actually has a few in stock and mine shipped out today!

It's $95 and comes in three sizes. $150 is for doing a custom version.
Not sure if it's worth paying more than $60 (cost of the the Alaska Guide pouch) but we'll see. I like the webbing and S4 style quick release.

I have one on the way and should have it tomorrow. A ton of great feedback from lots of experienced guys.
I'm mainly wanting something to use hiking off season and thought this was worth the cost for what it offered.

Dang, I sure like the look of those.
A medium should fit the Zeiss Classic well?

Looks well put together and comfortable, but what is the deal with the side mesh pocket? 5 hour energy receptacle? 30mm film holder? Anal lube pouch?

Seriously though, I like it. Unfortunately I would not currently buy one as I don't do tacticool multicam.

Blgoode - You should post your impressions when you get it.
Prairie goat - The "ranger green" version is pretty cool. There's a pic on one of the links above. I'd prefer that but decided to go with multicam since it's what they have in stock.
I have no idea what that side mesh pocket is for. M&Ms...?

The side pocket is for your 50 BMG shell, Eric Let me know how you like it. I used the Alaska Guide Pouch this last fall for the first time and really liked it, but it was a bit bulky. By the end of the season, I didn't carry a fanny pack as it had room for my binocs, knife, license and chew!

The side mesh pockes are for your wind powder bottles. It has thin pockets for your tags also.
I too went with multicam since that is what Paul had in stock. I plan to keep some earbuds in one mesh pouch.
I will hopefully get mine out on a maiden voyage next weekend with my new to me 8x32 ELs.

Blgoode, did you go small or medium? I'm using 8x32 ELs as well, and went medium just in case I want to use a full size bino at some point.
Ear buds in the pouch is a good idea.

I went with what ever size Eric recommended. I really didn't ask if it was a small or med or large.

I too found the FHF bino pouch interesting and was fortunate to try one that a gun club member had. Decided it was not compatible with my day pack so I put together my own.
