It needs an ebony forend, english red pad and a forend no longer than about 8.5 inches... and a shadow line around the english style cheekpiece...
Well schit then,still in the dog...errr ahhh ingwe house. Possible the ebony fore end tip and english red pad,but the cheek piece is a shot in the dark,cause I don't know if Boyds will do that or is already done on the stock.
Its easy to turn an American Cheekpiece into english...
That is because you have talent and patience.
Looked on the Boyds website,the fore end tip is plastic and a Pachmayr 1" pad.

Didn't shoot today, this was a foreplay trip of sorts. They tend to a pattern of movement, driven by food supply on one part and weather on another. Knowing where they are is a better approach than finding out where they ain't. Will stick with the .22rf, likely the Contender. It makes them seem bigger when the squeal is louder than the gun.
