In his younger days (before we met), my hunting partner had a .401 PowerMag.

Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

Happily Trapped In the Past (Thanks, Joe)

Not only a less than minimally educated person, but stupid and out of touch as well.

My parents wouldn't let me buy a .401 Powermag just because I was only 9 years old - Today I have six S&W .41 magnums to make up for my childhood trauma!

Grocery store bagger money and tips didn't make much more than my motorcycle payments but most of what was left over after gas for the bike went to Herters. Still got most of that stuff and kinda wish I'd been able to buy more. It may not have been the greatest or state of the art but it was solid. Then again, there was that wasp waist thing. grin Oh, almost forgot. I've got Herter's .300 Savage brass that was made in Sweden and also in Finland. Maybe Norma and a sub-contractor?

Now, how would .44's be therapeutic for bluesman's childhood trauma, being denied a Herter's .401 "World's Best", Powermag. He just had to accummulate a stable of S&W .41 mags to offset that early life crisis... wink

Seems to me, he's been able to cope pretty well... cool
