I have that part figgered out.... <g>
I am actually HOPING to fill the whole bed of my Avalanche with meat. Maybe even some donated by you guys for the homeless shelter where my wife works. It would be VERY much appreciated by them, and the place she works keeps the folks on a really short leash as far as both bettering thier lives and learning new decision making patterns plus life skills or out they go.

PS, I am pretty sure that a tax deductable reciept from the Christian Aid Center could be procured for those donating, if such was important. If some want to donate part or all of a pig, and want a receipt, let me know ahead of time and I will ask there about such.

If I take two pigs, you'll definitely get at least one of them.

If I take two pigs, you'll definitely get at least one of them. That is awsome. Thanks in advance, sir. I will try and get some good PR for hunters with the gift when I show up with X lbs of free pork. Local papers should find it of interest.

Shot the 1920 today. I found it needs a taller front sight to work with the Lyman 54 bolt peep sight, so I gave up & shot the barrel sights. Managed about a 1.5" group at 50 yards with factory ammo, more or less centered, so I reckon it's usable. The Walker did well enough. I may tinker some more with loads, ball size, and lube, but it would certainly serve for a short range backup. The cylinder seem to have less capacity than older models, but you can still fit 50gr of Swiss FFFG under the ball.

Well, mine are on order along with the KIK powder. Hopefully they'll show up soon enough that I can get something developed for the High Wall, without resorting to smokeless. I tried the MPS bullets again, and have concluded they are just too small to shoot. I have some 400gr WFNGC hard cast that mike .460, and I bet they'd work fine, but that's a direction I did not really wish to go in the 1885.

Can you load it up for your son, he's tough. Once he masters a 10 lb rifle launching 500 grain bullets, we'll let him try a 7 lb rifle, launching the same bullets

Can you load it up for your son, he's tough. LOL Wtxj, the Sharps is a P Cat in the recoil department, although, I will admit, 40 rounds from the bench is very noticeable. 10-4 Tex, hope ya get her bangin centers in time for the hunt. Aw Hail Son, that aint no way to be. LOL Gunner

Thanks,

Excellent.
Great crowd, as always, in spite of the fact some of the 24H get-together vets couldn't make it this year.
