Rush and Blackfoot was a fantastic show. I saw Black Sabbath with Ozzy, and Blue Oyster Cult together. Also Jethro Tull, ZZ (3 times), Van Halen twice, Three Dog Night twice, Journey, Styx, Steppenwolf, Rare Earth, Grass Roots, Grand Funk Railroad, Chicago, Ray Charles, Cheap Trick, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, and I am sure several others that are but a memory now... Oh, and how could I forget Pat Benetar...

Jimmy Buffet at Carowinds in the mid 80's. Being behind the Furman University cheerleaders didn't hurt either.

Of a different note...
Saw the Russian bass choir. It was incredible the notes they hit and the harmonies in the lower ranges.

None of these kids have ever heard of Thelonius Monk anyway... I always wondered if he had committed a major crime if his name would have been changed to Felonious Monk.

Best? Maybe a freebie by Roy Clark from the 3rd row.
Most memorable? US Festival, two day fun party, being backstage a day there or sneaking under the stage to come up and sit on the scaffolding between 300,000 people and the bands.
A stampede of hundreds at Cal Jam taking out a 8' chain link fence, is one you'll not soon forget.
Clapton, Walsh, Eagles, to many in to many places, how does one say who was best?

Flogging Molly on St. Patty's Day, 2004 in Tempe. That was probably the best. Good times. lucky you, would love to see these guys in concert.... i actually havent been to many, i was mixing drinks for sale at the Stones concert in Regina Sask in 2006, that was a cool concert, and a crazy night..... smaller concert but we went to Dierks Bentley in Sidney MT last year and it was pretty neat cause there werent many people...

Damn Yankees, somewhere around '92 ish....Just cause I got to go back stage and hang with Uncle Ted. If you think he likes to talk about hunting on TV, you should meet him in person.

Saw "Chicago" in '71 - that was probably the best I've been to. "Three Dog Night" and "The James Gang" were good, too.
Most surprising to me was "Black Oak Arkansas", never did buy any of their vinyl, but boy did they put on a show!
Most disappointing for me was "Bread", they just stood there and played exactly what was on their studio albums. Could have had more fun just listening to them on the stereo in my dorm room.
Saw both "Skynyrd" and "Crosby, Stills and Nash" 10 - 12 years ago and they were still good, but far from their haydays . . .

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young in Milwaukee's old Brewer's stadium in '74. Over 4 hours. Great music. Fun crowd.
YES in Chicago the year before was good too. Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Fleetwood Mac, The Doors. There were so many back then.
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

Skynrd 1975 in buffalo. J. Giles opened for them. 2 years before the plane crash. I wasn't old enough to drive yet. Saw the Beach Boys 3 times when I was a kid. I still like their stuff. Never had a chance to see the Doors. Had tickets to see Led Zepplin in 77 got canceled when Robert Plants son died.
