Peaches, I'm not to well versed in "Corsets" but would say that whalebone is going to be even harder to find, if that's the play.
If it's a corset, I'll volunteer alla' the fitting free, and chase down the appropriate "Raw Stock".
Maybe Titanium, or even Unobtanium would be preffered substitutes.
GTC I normally have stock of spring steel, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, Elgiloy, Semiobtanium, and yes, even a little Unobtanium...if that helps... But I'm out of spring temper gold, at the moment, so I can't help with underwires
